Katharina Franken, Lieke Ibes, Jule Schoofs und Nele Wilzopolski (alle 6c) bewiesen großes Engagement beim Bundeswettbewerb für Fremdsprachen.

Am 10. Mai 2019 war das White Horse Theatre wieder zu Gast an unserer Schule. Für die Klassen 5 und 6 wurde das Stück „Honesty“ aufgeführt, während die Klassen 7 bis 9 das Stück „The Tyrants‘ Kiss“ sahen. Ein großes Dankeschön gilt an dieser Stelle dem Förderverein für die finanzielle Unterstützung.

Am Montag, dem 11. Februar 2019, trafen sich 53 Schülerinnen und Schüler der Jahrgangsstufe 8 um 6.30 Uhr auf dem Parkplatz der Schule zur Ausweiskontrolle mit Frau Wahl, Frau Wans und Herrn Gleumes, bevor um 7 Uhr unser Englandabenteuer losging.

On 4^th October, 2018, we (Q2 E G3) interrupted our sequence on young audiences‘ interest in Shakespeare for a day to go back to the postwar period of the Second World War. After Germany had lost the war, it was divided into four parts: The west was occupied by the British, the east by the Soviets and the south was occupied by the Americans and the French. During the Cold War, the Soviets became the enemies of the British and the Americans. There were a lot of airforce stations in Germany at that time.
